I am originally from St. Louis, Missouri but have lived in Colorado for over twenty years. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Regis University and received a master’s degree in Special Education from University of Colorado Denver. This will be my 7th year in elementary education, my third year at Oakland Elementary School, and my second year as a reading interventionist. I have taught kinder-5th grade as a classroom teacher and worked several years with children with significant support needs. This year I will also be taking on the role of Language Specialist and ISA Team Lead. I have wanted to work with and support children in their learning since the age of 7, and I’m honored to get the opportunity to do so as an Oakland Eagle!
